Page 1 of 2 Nava Jeevan Rehabilitation Centre, as the society is registered as, is a body formed for the welfare and care of children who are suffering from multiple disabilities. The centre is registered in Madhya Pradesh, in the town of Jabalpur under the state Society registration Act. The board consists of 8 members, all of whom are life members. More details of the members are available on the following pages.
Acharya Bishop E. W. Talibuddin is our President. Bishop Talibuddin has a long association with the Church of North India as the Bishop of North East India. He laid down his office and became the Acharya of one of the only Christian ‘ashrams’ in India. Bishop Talibuddin is a meticulous planner, with years of experience of managing organizations, churches, hospitals and institutions wherever he served.
Mr. S. Pavamani, our Vice President, is retired from the Indian civil services from the Income Tax department. His keen knowledge of finance and management controls our organization’s structure and planning. His support and knowledge gives great direction and prudence in each decision taken by the board.
Mr. Daniel Dass, our Treasurer works with the CNI Shishu Sangopan Griha as their Chief Accountant. His role is the active financial management of the programme and maintaining day to day schedules with the staff and their needs. He is a crucial link between the administrative tasks of the organization and the board. Mr. Pramendra Khokher, a businessman by profession, expresses his joy to be a part of the organization where he can give his time to make concrete hopes and prospects for the future of the children who are not as fortunate to live a normal life. Through his enthusiasm to contribute his time, he now supports the board as the Secretary.
