The board members had a wonderful visit to Palampur and spent a lot of time taking a look at the property, discussing details and viewing the options that lay ahead.

We were glad that our legal advisors, our Chairman Bishop Talibuddin and Mrs. Talibuddin, member of the board, were all able to take the time to view and study the various options that lay ahead.

However, property matters could not be finalized. A meeting with the Magistrate was planned but that could not work out.

The members however, felt the beauty and the nature surrounding the place was one of the best they had seen so far. At a height of about 1000 metres from sea level, its not far up into the mountains. The drive from the nearest railway station is 2 1/2 hours. The town of Palampur is a nice small town, with an old church of 'St. John's in the Wilderness' standing in the centre of town. Now the town has a lot of people and has expanded further.
